Technical Artist

Location: Warsaw

We are currently working on The Witcher: Monster Slayer – a mobile AR technology-based RPG set in the world of the Witcher.
We are looking for an experienced individual for the position of Technical Artist.

If you have experience working on one of the leading game engines (Unity and/or Unreal), games are your passion and you are up to date with the latest trends in the industry, then this might be the job for you.

Tasks:

  • Implementing and developing shaders
  • Creating sample materials and training artists on the use of prepared tools
  • Optimizing rendering for the capabilities of mobile devices
  • Working closely with artists, game designers, programmers and producers on key
    visuals
  • Co-creating technical documentation related to the project

Additionally:

  • Creating visual effects in the Unity engine
  • Preparing, modifying, and optimizing VFX

Requirements::

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position working on a commercial
    desktop or mobile project
  • Experience with mobile shaders
  • Knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal engine
  • Very good working knowledge of Cg/HLSL, C# and GIT
  • Ability to use Maya, After Effect, Photoshop, Houdini
  • Shader writing skills – directly in the editor in Cg/HLSL
  • Excellent artistic and technical skills
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills
  • Very good command of English (B2 level minimum).
  • Interest in the gaming industry

Technical Artist

Location: Warsaw

We are looking for a creative and talented person with a passion for games for the position of Game Designer. If you have experience in game design and are able to infect other team members with your vision, this might be the position for you!

Tasks:

  • design and development of gameplay mechanics and game economics
  • coordinating the implementation of the idea from the conceptual phase to implementation within the project – collecting feedback, balancing and “refining” the project
  • creating and updating project documentation so that other team members can implement its ideas
  • providing support throughout the production process and implementation of the proposed mechanics
  • balancing and iterating mechanics based on own knowledge and feedback
  • proposing original solutions that will fit within the vision of implemented projects

Requirements:

  • minimum one year of experience as a Game Designer or Technical Designer, at least one finished project welcome
  • problem solving
  • ability to create prototypes in Unity / another engine
  • advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • knowledge of the games industry and current market trends
  • good command of English (B2 level minimum)
  • ability to implement other team members’ ideas
  • ability to formulate thoughts in a concise manner
  • knowledge of game production process
  • ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
