HOW TO DEFINE AN SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER AT SPOKKO? 

They’re an expert who can devise a broadly defined marketing strategy for a free-to-play mobile game.

They have experience in launching other mobile products on international markets. They know and understand processes which underlie such activities.

They are able to share their experience with other members of the Marketing department.

They know how to acquire users and feel at home with analytics, aware of which data they need and why, in order to achieve the desired results.

They influence the final shape and principles of the product (game) and from the very beginning they are involved in its creation process and setting the direction for its development.

TASKS:

  • designing and building marketing strategies for games created by the Studio at each level of their development – from the idea to growth stages;
  • establishing the principles for public relations and communication for the Studio’s games;
  • preparing marketing news and materials (in Polish and English);
  • running and optimizing marketing campaigns;
  • conducting marketing research, market analysis of the pertinent segment, and determining trends;
  • analyzing campaign performance and modifying it based on obtained data;
  • analyzing and implementing changes in connection with the automatization of marketing activities;
  • creating strategies for acquiring, retaining and engaging users – matching markets, types of campaigns, optimizing, setting budgets, analyzing advertising needs;
  • reporting on the results of undertaken actions on the basis of available tools; and
  • working together with the product department in order to determine the campaign’s character to achieve the product’s KPI.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • excellent practical knowledge of the mobile games market, at least 6 years of experience working in a similar position, experience in leading performance campaigns;
  • experience in acquiring users through Facebook Ads and Google Ads;
  • experience in creating products’ communication strategies;
  • advanced knowledge of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for purposes of analysis and creating reports;
  • knowledge of tools for market and mobile products research, e.g. AppAnnie, Sensor Tower, AppMagic;
  • knowledge of trends and ad asset scoring;
  • great ability of analysis, data gathering and processing, and optimizing marketing assumptions;
  • very good command of English (C1 minimum); and
  • excellent communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • experience in leading a project team;
  • experience in acquiring users through smaller ad networks;
  • experience in leading a campaign on the global market (in particular in the USA); and
  • experience working for an ad agency or advertising network.
